Lenten Youth Program- for Youth by Youth 2014
The youth of St Anthony’s Church, Dharavi gathered in the church after the Sunday evening mass on April 6th 2014 for a Lenten program organized by the Young Pauline Collaborators (YPC) . Sr Joyce Lucas FSP led us through a thought-provoking recollection titled “The Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ.” Through a mix of anecdotes, hymns, prayers and reflections, we stayed with Jesus as he lived the last few hours of his life becoming more fully aware of the deep love that our Lord and Saviour has for each one of us.
After the recollection, a short video capturing the plethora of charitable, faith formation and fun activities that YPC members engage in throughout the year motivated some of the youth to rgister with the YPC. We thank Sr. Joeyanna D’Souza FSP (coordinator of the YPC) and our three YPC members –Asitha, Sharmila and Winifred from St Anthony’s Church, Dharavi for organizing this program.
