Prayer for Patience
O most glorious saint Paul, from a fierce persecutor of the Christians you became a most ardent Apostle, and in order to bring the knowledge of Jesus to the farthest bounds of the world, you suffered imprisonments, scourging, stoning, shipwrecks and persecutions of every kind and finally shed your blood up to the last drop. Obtain for us the grace to receive from the hands of God as heavenly favours the trials and sufferings of this life, so that they may not make us cold in the service of God, but make us cold in the service of God, but make us more and more faithful and fervent. Amen.
Prayer for a Happy Death
O Lord, my Creator and Redeemer, in a spirit of adoration I wholeheartedly accept your sentence of my death, according to your will. I intend to die a devoted child of the Church and to pass to eternity with the best dispositions of faith, hope charity and repentance of my sins, renewing my baptismal promises and my religious commitment. I offer you, Lord, all the circumstances, even if painful, which will accompany my passage to eternity, in reparation for my sins and to better merit heaven.
I invoke the great models of a happy death: Jesus crucified, with whom I intend to repeat,Father, into your hands I commend my spirit; the Virgin Mary, so that she may pray for me now and at the hour of my death; St Joseph, that he may obtain for me a holy life so as to deserve a death like his Jesus in agony, my suffering mother. Saint Joseph I ask you for these graces: To live a good life, observing faithfully the commandments and all the duties of my state of life, which will assure me a good death. To be able to receive, in case of grave illness, the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Anointing and Extreme Unction and also the plenary indulgence. To be faithful to my vocation, according to the graces bestowed on me, so that my life may be most fruitful for God’s glory and my eternal well-being. The graces to say my daily prayers and to do everything for my salvation; in particular the frequent reception of the sacraments of reconciliation and communion, following the liturgy.
Jesus Master, I believe in you . Jesus Master, I hope in you. Jesus Master, I love you. Jesus Master I beg for your mercy. Jesus , Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, assist me in my last agony. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, may I breathe forth my soul in peace with you.
Prayer for Ecumenism
Hail, O Mary, our mother, teacher and queen! Graciously listen to the prayers we present to you according the wish of Jesus: “Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send good workers into the vineyard”. Turn your merciful gaze upon the millions of people. Many of them live in darkness without a father, a shepherd, a teacher. The Lord made you an apostle to give to the world Jesus the Way, the Truth and the Life. By having recourse to you they will be able to find their way to Jesus. Through you may all Catholics work with all their strength for all vocations, for all apostolates. Through you, may all the faithful work for all unbelievers, all the fervent for all the indifferent, all the Catholics for all non Catholics. Through you, may all those called correspond, may all apostles be holy, may all races welcome them. O Mother beneath the cross your heart expanded in order to embrace us all as your children. Obtain for us an apostolic heart modelled on your heart and on that of Jesus and St Paul, so that one day we may form a glorious crown before you in Heaven. Bless us, O mother, teacher and queen.
Prayer for Our Nation
O Saint Paul, teacher of nations, watch over with love our nation and our people. Your heart was large enough to welcome and embrace all nations in an embrace of peace. Now, in heaven, the charity of Christ urges you to enlighten all with the light of the Gospel and to seek to establish the kingdom of love. Raise up vocations; strengthen apostolic workers; make all hearts docile to the divine Master. May this great nation find in Christ the Way, the Truth and the Life. May its light shine over the world; and may it search always for the kingdom of God and his justice. O holy Apostle, enlighten us, strengthen us and bless us. Amen.
Prayer for Radio and TV
We adore you, Lord, Creator of heaven and earth. We thank you for having placed at the disposition of humanity such a wealth of goods for the present life and for eternal life. “All these are yours; but you belong to Christ, and Christ belong to God” (cf.1 Co 3 23). Jesus, Divine Master, in your mercy enlighten and direct us so that all the discoveries and the means of social communication may be used for edifying and uplifting—never for spiritual or human ruin. Today we pray for radio and television. We offer you, Jesus Master, our prayers and our daily apostolate to atone for the misuse of these gifts and to ask of you that everything may be for the glory of God and peace of humanity.

Prayer for Vocations
Heavenly Father, You are the Lord of the Vineyard and the harvest. You give each one a just reward for work done. In your design of love, call men and women to work with you for the salvation of the world. We thank you for Jesus Christ, your living Word, who has redeemed us from our sins. Guide the flock to the kingdom You have promised. Send new workers into your harvest and give them perseverance in their vocation and holiness of life. Christ Jesus, you called the Apostles and made them the foundation of the Church and bearers of your Gospel. Give Courage to those whom you call to follow you, and make them docile instruments of your love in the everyday service of their brothers and sisters. Holy Spirit, Lord, help young people to discover the beauty of the divine call. Teach them the true way of prayer. Help them to read the signs of the times, and make them faithful interpreters of your Gospel and bearers of salvation. Mary Queen of the Apostles, Prayer for us . St. Paul the Apostle, Pray for us. Blessed James Alberione, Pray for us. Blessed Timothy Giaccardo, Pray for us.
A Worker’s Prayer
O Jesus, divine Master and Friend of workers, cast your loving gaze upon the working classes. We present to you the needs of all those who do intellectual, moral or material work. You see the many labours, fatigues, sufferings, and deceit which feel these difficult days in which we live. Be merciful, O Lord, at the physical and moral sufferings; repeat the words of tenderness of your Divine heart: “I have compassion on this people.” Comfort us; we beseech you, through the intercession of St Joseph, the model of workers. Give us the wisdom, the virtue and the love which animated you during your laborious days. Inspire us with thoughts of faith, of peace, of moderation so that we may always seek together with our daily bread eternal goods, and paradise. Deliver us from the deceitful who seek to deprive us of the gift of faith and of trust in your divine providence. Deliver us from those who do not acknowledge human rights and dignity. Inspire social laws in conformity with the papal teachings; permit that all may become members of the Christian organizations of workers, and that charity and justice together with a sincere spirit of cooperation may reign among the social classes. May all the selfish exploiters who take advantage of the poor workers be converted. May all people respect the vicar of Christ, the teacher of the only social doctrine which assures, protects and elevates the worker to the kingdom of heaven, the eternal reward of the poor Amen.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
