LIFE is BEAUTIFUL

We exclaim with unanticipated joy and childlike excitement at certain enlightened moments that,"Life is beautiful, despite the hardships and problems...."Life is beautiful, yes, not despite the challenges, but because of them. These very challenges provide the much needed contrast that enable us to have a sense of deep appreciation and gratitude for the little and big joys of life.

This book is on life skills, with an undercurrent of spirituality, organised into 14 chapters. It's a loving attempt to show the areas of resistance and how it can be removed. Each chapter has a couple of quatets (short, simple 4-liner poems), relevant to the title. They, like life, are always opens to millions of fresh possibilties and new perceptions, every time you read them. Because, as my wonderful teacher Shaman Elder Maggie Wahls taught me once, sticking to any single viewpoint limits our growth.

When we are present in every moment, when we are mindfully present in each moment with a mind that is open and eager, a heart fill with peace, love and gratitude for life, life is beautiful. Then even a mere blade of grass assumes divine magnificence and we can be immersed in a sea of unparalleled joy, sensing the spectacular presence of the creator everywhere.
