According to the gospels, Jesus called the twelve apostles to be with him and imbibe his spirit so as to proclaim the Good News, to cure every disease and illness including leprosy, to authoritatively cast out demons, and to even raise the dead. In brief: to imitate his lifestyle in every respect, so as to become other Christs. That in a nutshell is what this book is all about! The methodology Jesus used was truthfulness and openness in his dealings with both his disciples and his apostles—a process that convinced people of the unconditional love of God that enables the erring to mend their ways and the fallen to return to the fold of God’s forgiving love. While the book is addressed to priests, its contents can help the readers in general to better understand and appreciate the priests and to effectively support them in their imitation of the life and mission of Jesus, to the point of laying down their lives for him.
