Consecrated Life—Called to Move Beyond
A rare book of conferences on Religious life, combining rich and vast personal experience, intelligent reflection, spiritual fervour and human and Christian concern in an easy flowing conversational style.
Fr M Amaladoss, SJ
Having listened to Sr Inigo in seminars for religious and read the feedback on the seminars the National CRI organized for superiors, I know how powerful her impact on the audience is. She is able to focus on key issues, challenge the audience to be true to the Gospel, and indicate creative ways of living our Consecrated Life today. There was never a dull moment in her lectures. All this is evident in this book. While showing a clear awareness of contemporary issues, the author is clear (and correct) about what comes first—a genuine God-experience to seek and to share and to bear witness to.
Fr Joe Mannath SDB, National Secretary, CRI
Drawing from her own rich and worldwide experience of religious life, Sr Inigo speaks of its fundamental aspects, highlighting the mystical and prophetic dimensions intrinsic to this form of discipleship leading to mission. A rich resource!
Sr Sujita SND
With all the increasing challenges and demands of consecrated life in our contemporary world, Sr Inigo’s enlightening book, especially the questions at the end of each chapter, offer us an opportunity to pause, reflect, respond and recommit ourselves to radical Gospel living as prophetic witnesses of Christ. As a co-pilgrim, she calls all of us to live more authentically and to become a transforming presence to our people as Servants, Mystics and Prophets.
Samuel H Canilang, CMF, Manila
So many of us who write and speak about religious life do so from a bookish and academic stance. But here in Sr Inigo’s book we come across one who has “walked the talk”. No one can listen to her and remain unmoved. She has the ability to set souls on fire when she speaks, and awaken us once more to the Spirit within. Out of her years of experience she shares that wisdom and passion that come from within. Read and be challenged. Dare to be changed.
