Eucharistic Adoration is, adoring and honouring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present in the Sacred Host. During the Eucharistic Adoration, we watch and wait; we remain silent in his presence and open ourselves to his graces which flow from the Eucharist Lord. By worshipping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be. Like a magnet, the Lord draws us to himself and gently transforms us. The more we spend time with Jesus the more we will come away feeling renewed, strengthened and healed.
Pope Benedict XVI in his Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation, Sacramentum Caritatis says, “In a world where there is so much noise, so much bewilderment, there is a need for silent adoration of Jesus concealed the Host. Be assiduous in the prayer of adoration and teach it to the faithful. It is a source of comfort and light particularly to those who are suffering.” At the Feet of the Master is a source of help and guide in spending the Eucharistic hour fruitfully. The prayers and reflections contained in this book will help us to sit prayerfully and reverently at the feet of the Master.
