75 Years of the Daughters of St Paul in India
Capturing the Moments of 75 Years
Seventy-five years is more than a milestone. It is a story of faith, courage, dedication and a mission entrusted to generations of women who have given their lives to proclaim the Gospel through the means of social communication.
The journey of the Daughters of St Paul in India began with a dream—to bring Christ to people through books, media and every means available for evangelisation. What began humbly has grown into a mission that has reached countless lives across the country.
Over these 75 years, the Daughters of St Paul have witnessed a changing India and a changing world. From the early days of travelling with books and bringing the Word of God to people, to establishing book centres and embracing radio, television, digital media and social communication, the mission has continually evolved while remaining rooted in the same purpose: to proclaim Jesus Christ through the modern means of communication.
Behind these 75 years are generations of Sisters who have generously responded to God’s call. They have travelled, served, published, written, edited, taught, animated, communicated and reached out to people in countless ways. Their lives have become part of a larger story—a story of faith lived through the apostolate of communication.
There have been moments of beginning and moments of growth, challenges and new possibilities, quiet sacrifices and joyful celebrations. Each has contributed to the rich history of the Pauline presence in India.
The mission has also been shaped by the many people who have walked alongside the Daughters of St Paul—collaborators, benefactors, readers, families, priests, religious and friends who have believed in and supported this mission of evangelisation.
Today, as we look back on 75 years, we do not simply look at the past. We look with gratitude at God’s faithfulness throughout the journey and at the countless ways in which the Pauline mission has continued to reach hearts.

75 years of faith.
75 years of communication.
75 years of evangelisation.
75 years of the Pauline mission in India.
As we celebrate this remarkable journey, we remember with gratitude all those who have been part of it, honour the generations who have gone before us, and look ahead with renewed hope.
The world of communication continues to change. The mission remains.
To proclaim Christ. To communicate the Gospel. To bring God’s Word to every person, through every possible means.
After 75 years, the story continues—and there are still many more chapters to be written.
